My First Art Class is a unique art program for children 2—5-years-old. We create an art environment where your child can flourish creatively. We believe that everyone is creative and artistic and all they need is the right environment to thrive. Children are especially free, in their artistic expression, and need that gift nourished. Since 1986, we've created art experiences that even the youngest child can explore—and enjoy!
Each week, we have a theme using an exciting array of art materials such as paint, clay, collage, feathers, glitter, stickers, markers and much more!
We set up an environment with 5 art stations. The children move freely around the room experiencing the art materials at their own pace. We believe it's the process, not the finished product, that is important when tapping into the creative spirit. We have fun with art for 45 minutes and then finish up the hour with lively singing and dancing.
